How to delete your account

You can ask MLH to delete your account at any time. If you only want a break, you can simply sign out instead — your account will be waiting when you come back.

Deleting your account

1. Open Delete my account.
2. If you like, tell us why you are leaving and how your experience was. This part is optional, and it helps us improve MLH.
3. Read What happens to your data, so you know what is removed and what is kept.
4. Tick I understand this permanently deletes my account.
5. Tap Request account deletion.

What happens next

• Our team permanently deletes your account and personal data. This can take up to 30 days.
• Until then, you can keep using your account.
• Changed your mind? Open Delete my account again and tap Cancel request — keep my account.

Some records are kept for good reasons — for example payment records the law requires us to keep, and messages you already sent, which stay in the other person's conversation. The full list is on the data deletion page.
