How to invite a friend

Share your invite link and earn a reward when a friend starts using MLH for real.

Invite friends to MLH with your own link. When a friend you invited starts using MLH for real, you can earn a reward such as airtime.

Sharing your invite link

  1. Open Refer friends.
  2. Tap Share. On a phone this opens your share menu, so you can send the link straight to WhatsApp. Otherwise the link is copied, ready to paste.
  3. Your friend signs up using your link.

When an invite counts

Signing up alone does not count. Your invite qualifies when your friend, within 14 days of joining:

  • gets their ID verified,
  • posts their first listing, or
  • makes their first sale.

Up to 5 qualifying invites can be rewarded each calendar month, and the count starts again on the 1st. A staff member checks each one before the reward is sent.

Your Refer friends page shows everyone you invited and whether they have qualified. The full details are in the programme rules.
