Malawi Living Hub is for safe, honest, legal trade — kept clean and inclusive for everyone. By posting or trading here, you agree to these rules and to follow Malawi law and international standards.
What's welcome here
- Legal goods and services you own or are allowed to sell
- Clear, honest descriptions and fair prices
- Your own clean, professional photos
- Properly licensed businesses and service providers
Never allowed
Stolen goods or anything you can't lawfully sell
Never post items that are stolen, or that you don't own or have the right to sell. If a deal involves stolen property, both the seller and the buyer may be breaking the law.
Illegal items & illegal businesses
Anything against the laws of Malawi — including prohibited or unlicensed weapons, drugs, smuggled goods, counterfeits, and unlicensed regulated services. If it's illegal offline, it's illegal here.
Wildlife harm & graphic animal content
No ivory, skins, or parts of protected or endangered animals, and no bushmeat of protected species — this breaks Malawi law and international CITES rules. No graphic photos of killed or slaughtered animals. Butchers and meat sellers: please use clean, professional photos or a flyer — not images of dead animals.
Fake medicine & health scams
No “village doctor”, witch-doctor, or miracle-cure listings, and no misleading health or medical claims. Medicines, drugs and pharmaceuticals are tightly regulated in Malawi by the Pharmacy and Medicines Regulatory Authority (PMRA) — anything in this area is reviewed very strictly and removed if it is not properly licensed.
Misleading, fake or harmful content
No counterfeits, fake products, false claims, or bait-and-switch. No graphic, hateful, explicit, or degrading content, or anything posted to distress or mislead people.
The law & your responsibility
- →You are fully responsible for what you post, sell and buy.
- →We cannot back or cover any deal involving stolen, illegal, fake or prohibited goods. If you buy or sell these, you are on your own and may be breaking the law.
- →Regulated businesses and services (medicine, finance, firearms, food, transport and more) must meet Malawi law and international standards and hold the correct licences.
- →We cooperate with the police and regulators on illegal activity.
How we keep it clean
- ✓ Every listing has a Report button — use it.
- ✓ We review reports daily and remove anything that breaks these rules.
- ✓ Warnings, listing removal, account suspension, or a permanent ban for violations.
- ✓ Serious or illegal cases are reported to the authorities.
