The Malawi School of Government (MSG), a statutory higher education institution established under the Malawi School of Government Act No. 33 of 2022, is inviting applications from suitably qualified, experienced, innovative, self-motivated, and results-oriented individuals to fill the following positions. Available Positions 1. Human Resource Officer (Grade SG7) Duty Station: Mpemba Campus Reports to: Human Resource and Administration Manager Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, Management, or a related field from an NCHE-accredited institution. Minimum of 5 years relevant post-qualification experience. Practical experience in implementing Performance Management Systems. Membership of a recognized professional body is an added advantage. Key Responsibilities Implement HR policies, systems, and procedures. Coordinate recruitment, staff development, and employee relations. Maintain HR Management Information Systems (HRMIS). Process payroll inputs and maintain payroll records. Coordinate staff training, induction, and performance management. Promote occupational health and safety compliance. 2. Administrative Officer (Grade SG7) Duty Station: Secretariat Reports to: Director of Administration Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Management, or a related field from an NCHE-accredited institution. Minimum of 5 years relevant post-qualification experience. Practical experience in implementing Performance Management Systems. Key Responsibilities Coordinate office administration and support services. Organize meetings, events, and official ceremonies. Supervise support staff and prepare administrative reports. Manage records, assets, and inventory. Ensure workplace standards and administrative efficiency. 3. Assistant Procurement and Disposal Officer (Grade SG9) Duty Station: Mpemba Campus Reports to: Procurement and Disposal Officer Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Procurement and Supply, Supply Chain Management, Purchasing and Supply, Logistics Management, or a related field from an NCHE-accredited institution. Minimum of 3 years relevant post-qualification experience. Registration with the Malawi Institute of Procurement and Supply (MIPS) or another recognized procurement professional body in Malawi. Key Responsibilities Process procurement requisitions and supplier quotations. Prepare Local Purchase Orders (LPOs) and procurement documentation. Maintain procurement records and databases. Support asset disposal processes. Prepare procurement reports and support audits.
