About The Role:

Be the trusted financial partner behind a fast-growing, technology-enabled agricultural enterprise.

This is not a purely transactional finance role. You'll sit at the intersection of finance, budgets, procurement, sales and operations, working alongside departmental leads to help them plan spending, spot problems early and make better financial decisions. It suits someone who enjoys working with people as much as numbers.

What You'll Do:

*Departmental budgets & partnership*

Support budgeting, track budget vs actual, and flag overspend or pressures before they become problems.

*Disbursement Requests (DRs)*

Own day-to-day DR review: approved budget, correct coding, documentation, timely processing and escalation.

*Procurement & reconciliation*

Reconcile purchases to DRs and budgets, compare suppliers and find value-for-money and cost savings.

*Sales & revenue verification*

Reconcile kiosk and hub sales against stock dispatched and cash received; follow up discrepancies.

*Month-end, audit & systems*

Deliver reconciliations, explain variances, keep records audit-ready and work through Odoo rather than parallel spreadsheets.

80% - Core financial control & partnership

20% - The other 20%: improving how GGEM works through process improvement, automation, cost savings and financial literacy across teams.

What You'll Bring:

• Experience in finance, accounting, budgeting, procurement or a related field

• Strong numerical and analytical skills, with experience in reconciliations and reporting

• Attention to detail without losing sight of the bigger operational picture

• Confidence with spreadsheets, digital finance systems and CRM/ERP workflows (e.g. Odoo)

• Clear written and verbal communication with colleagues at every level, and with suppliers

• The confidence to ask questions and respectfully challenge information that doesn't add up

• Curiosity about technology and automation, and ideas for better ways of working

• Willingness to maintain a regular on-site presence in the Nkhotakota area
