🎓 Qualifications & Requirements

.Bachelor’s degree (BSc) in Irrigation or Agricultural Engineering**.

.Minimum 5 years’ experience** in a manufacturing or agricultural project environment.

.Demonstrated experience in managing and implementing large-scale projects.

.Familiarity with OCMS or similar capital planning/project tracking systems is an advantage.

💼 Key Responsibilities

.Lead the technical, financial and operational delivery of capital and improvement projects, ensuring delivery within scope, cost, quality and schedule.

.Plan, structure and execute projects.

Identify improvement opportunities, develop business cases and engage stakeholders.

.Coordinate internal teams and external contractors.

.Manage project scope, schedules, cost changes, risks, procurement challenges and budget performance.

.Provide technical guidance on capital planning, equipment and technology selection, procurement and cost estimation.

.Ensure quality compliance through contractor pre-qualification, tender evaluations, risk management and verification of technical deliverables.

.Drive effective commissioning, handover and integration of projects into operations.

.Promote and adhere to Illovo’s procedures, policies and guidelines, including those relating to SHEQ, Competition Law, Anti-Bribery and Corruption.
