Wukani Education Facility, a secondary school, is seeking a well-qualified, dedicated and disciplined individual to serve as School Patron.

Key responsibilities:

Supervise students and promote good conduct within the boarding community.

Guide and counsel students on academic, social, personal and moral matters.

Monitor students' welfare, cleanliness and adjustment to boarding life.

Ensure student safety within the boarding facility.

Promote discipline and ensure compliance with school and boarding rules.

Monitor punctuality and attendance at assemblies, meals, study periods and other activities.

Identify students facing difficulties and refer serious cases to school authorities.

Promote cleanliness and hygiene in dormitories and surrounding areas.

Escort sick students to a hospital or clinic.

Ensure proper use and care of school property and boarding facilities.

Support student leaders and prefects.

Work with the headteacher, deputy headteacher, teachers and boarding staff.

Report indiscipline cases and sicknesses to school authorities.

Conduct roll calls to ensure student availability.

Perform duties professionally and ethically.

Perform other duties assigned from time to time.

Personal attributes:

Sober-minded.

Self-starter.

Qualification:

Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE).

Experience:

More than 2 years of experience as a patron at a reputable institution
